Computer Won’t Turn On

The most scariest thing feeling is when your computer fails to turn on at all. You press the power button and nothing happens. No beeps, clicks, clunks or whirs. Light on the monitor is on, but your computer is totally dead. Oh no, panic!

Noisy Computer or Laptop

Computer Fails to Start

Sometimes your computer begins to load but after some time stops responding during the start up process and then you get a blue screen error. This problem can be caused by many factors.

Your computer can try to load windows from removable media. First of all check and remove any CD’s, DVD’s, USB flash drives, memory cards. Remove any digital cameras or external hard drives. Try to restart your computer. If it fails again something else is causing the problem. If your desktop displays an error during start up, this is probably caused by hardware configuration problem. This can be related to the windows Boot Manager having a problem. Your motherboard, CPU, RAM or graphic card may have also developed a problem.

Computer Freezes and Restarts

There can be two kind of problems causing the computer to freeze and restart. One is software problems caused by viruses, trojans, rogue programs and other adware. These can cause system instability. When the system detects a problem it restarts to prevent future damage. These problems can be solved by cleaning out the viruses, trojans, rogue programs and other adware. Sometimes drivers need to upgraded as well. Depending on the severity of the virus, trojan or rogue program, sometimes the quickest and most reliant repair is a reinstall of the operating system.. Second and more serious – hardware problem. Hard drive issues are the most probable cause for computer freezing and restarting. Also faulty RAM can make the computer or laptop act in this way.There are other hardware faults that can cause freezes. My computer keeps running slow and when I start it up my desktop takes forever to load. What can it be? My computer runs slow, takes forever to start up or shut down and will even just shut itself off ..help!? My computer runs really slow and sometimes I can’t even get into my mail and it takes forever to find the sites? Problem with peripherals can happen suddenly. Yesterday your printer, mouse or keyboard were working fine, you turn your computer on today and boom – no printer, mouse or keyboard at all. In most cases this problem can be caused by a driver issue. First of all try to connect your faulty hardware to another USB port. Sometimes this helps to repair minor faults.

In a few cases the problem can be with faulty hardware. If none of your peripherals connected through USB are working, this is a probable motherboard fault. If you have wi-fi printer and it is not working, this can caused by wrong drivers or wrong wi-fi router configuration.

Screen Doesn’t Show Anything

You turn on desktop computer. You can hear it starting to work and windows start to load, but your screen doesn’t show anything or “no signal found” message is displayed on the screen. This can happen for many reasons. If you moved your computer recently, please check all your cables. They can be loose slightly. If cables are all ok, you should try to connect the screen to another computer. Maybe your monitor is faulty?

Sometimes the screen shows nothing because of a faulty graphic card or other hardware problem. If steps mentioned above did not solve your problem, you should contact a professional computer repair technician.
